Located along the Seminole Canal and 16th Street in Fort Lauderdale, F3 Marina Fort Lauderdale will offer unsurpassed amenities, first-class service and convenient access to numerous restaurants, hotels, shops, local activities and more. The marina has direct access to the Intracoastal Waterway and is just minutes from the Atlantic Ocean.
F3 Marina Fort Lauderdale, a fully automated drystack marina with an overhead crane using smat technology, is set to open Winter 2020 and offer an enhanced boat storage experience with improved operational efficiency and safety. The second of its kind in the United States, F3 Marina Fort Lauderdale can accommodate boats up to 46 feet in length with a 13-foot beam and provides its patrons a hurricane-rated indoor facility with white-glove concierge service. It is located on the Intracoastal Waterway, just one nautical mile from Port Everglades and the Atlantic Ocean.
F3 Marina turned to software experts in crane technology to make the new system even more efficient than the Port Marina, the company's nearby condominium marina that has 125 dry slips on four levels.
The result is an advanced, computerized crane system that maximizes storage capability and minimizes boat retrieval time. A single wet well houses two boat lifts that bring the boats out of the water and positions them to be lifted by the staging process, which increase efficiency and reduces cycle time.
The building is being constructed to withstand winds of up to 140 mph and have adequate generator power to be self-sufficient in the event of power outage.
In addition to the high-end hospitality, customers will enjoy key amenities: a climate-controlled private lounge, indoor covered parking, on-site, high-speed fuel service, storage lockers, and a fish cleaning station.
