Long time Luke Brown client, Ian Koblick, has had an amazing career in sunken treasure recovery, antiquities, and deep sea exploration spanning over 40 years. Among his many quests was salvaging treasure from the Spanish galleon Atocha which sank off Key West during a hurricane in September, 1622 and discovering the numerous shipwreck sites of ancient Roman and Greek ships which sank over 2000 years ago. Ian has put together a very exciting and interesting diving adventure charter series in the Mediterranean Sea for Summer 2015. Timing is everything and this may be a trip which will not be available after this summer.
Guests will enjoy visiting and exploring the beautiful Aeolian Islands off the northern coast of Sicily rich in Roman history and legendary cuisine.
The Trust has also reserved a villa in the Med which is near the dive sites and I am told there may still be space available. Should you want to charter a yacht separately for the trip, that can be done on an individual basis through my office.
Obviously this is a unique opportunity and not a run of the mill charter in the Mediterranean that many have already done in the past.
Hope to hear from you soon since space and charter dates are limited to first come - first serve.
