"After getting every option that Sirena had available these are some of the over 300 modifications, I made to make my Sirena 58 a true one of a kind.
Since Sirena makes all of their own furniture in house, I was able to request a much higher level of finishings than the normal production boat. All of the furniture is higher quality leather. Floors in the Saloon and Cabins are custom hardwoods. The galley and heads all have Consentino Silestone or Dekton Quarts Floors and Countertops. Even the showers are lined in Consentino Quartz. I will not try to list every upgrade and modification that was made. The important point is that the finishings in this Sirena are many levels above the normal production model and more in line with a much larger mega yacht."
"After the boat was delivered, I immediately took it to RMK/Merrill Stevens in Miami for even more customizations. The factory could not do the security system, so I contracted RMK for a one-of-a-kind system that I helped design. This project took 5 months and over $400.000.00 to finish. It is a true one-of-a-kind system that allows for complete monitoring of all systems on the boat (electrical, bilges, security, and monitoring). The boat and tender can communicate to me worldwide by Iridium satellite. I can completely monitor and control security on my boat from anywhere in the world. It took over 1 mile of wire to complete the system. There were special wings built, special antennas and so many customizations too numerous to list. This is part of why my boat is truly one of a kind and the safest boat on the seas.
I will not go into every component, but just basically describe the system and what it can do.
The heart of the system is controlled by Nautic Alert. This is the brains which all of the components go through. The main part of the system has monitors for all the electrical systems on my boat including shore power. If there are any abnormalities, it will notify me by cell phone and email. It also has its own ultrasonic monitors in each bilge area and send very precise readings of bilge pump activity. It will keep note of how often a bilge pump will cycle, for how long it runs and how much power it draws to give advance notice of any potential problems that are coming up. I can monitor it on board from the control panel or on my phone or web page on my phone. It also monitors CO2, Fire and Smoke and will notify me of any problems.
Also tied into this system is my custom security system. I have 5 smart FLIR security cameras that effectively create electronic walls around my boat. It analyzes anything that penetrates the zone and when it detects a person (through heat and motion signatures) it will sound the alarm. It will minimize any false alarms through its intelligent monitoring system. In addition to electronic walls, I have motion detectors, hatch monitors and other sensors for complete 360-degree coverage inside and outside of the boat. There are alarms that sound inside the boat as well as 5- 140 decibel sirens and police strobe lights that are in every quadrant of the boat. If this alarm goes off everyone for several miles will know about it. It also sends me and anyone else I set up a message to let me know there is a problem.
There are also panic buttons located in secret spots throughout the boat and wearable panic buttons that can sound the alarm and signal help in a split second. Even my Tender is equipped with a Nautic Alert System and has an alarm, laser sensor and security notifications."
