LIST VIEWThe debut yacht for IAG was the 38.8m composite superyacht Primadonna, launched in 2011. Equipped with twin 1,800 bhp Caterpillar C32 Acert diesels, she delivers speeds of up to 18 knots. Motor Yacht Primadonna spawned a superyacht series for the shipyard. Luxury yacht builder IAG currently is constructing a 42.67 metre yacht, the first hull in its IAG 140 Noble Star series, for an American client. The new superyacht will feature exterior and interior styling by yacht designer Evan K. Marshall.
Twin brothers Michael and Bernard Chang founded superyacht builder IAG Yachts in 2005 with the goal of opening a shipyard capable of constructing world-class luxury yachts. Their modern, 67,000sqm shipyard is strategically located in Zhuhai, Southern China, near Hong Kong and Macau, which enables them to easily import materials and equipment from vendors around the world. Luxury yacht builder IAG started out manufacturing yachts in fibreglass, but have added a facility to the shipyard that will be dedicated to the construction of larger yachts in steel and aluminium. IAG Yachts has also opened a sales office serving the Americas in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
